Award Categories
The Moonee Ponds Business Awards offers a wide range of categories eligible for awards, ensuring that businesses from many industries that make up Moonee Ponds have an opportunity to shine. Categories include:
- Business of the Year— Recognising a business that has demonstrated outstanding achievements, performance, and innovation (Open to any business that has won an award category)
- Best New Business (Open to any new business that commenced operations within the past two years)
- Best Cafes and Takeaways
- Best Fashion
- Best Fresh Produce
- Best Goods and Services
- Best Hair and Beauty
- Best Health and Wellbeing
- Best Professional Services
- Best Restaurants, Pubs, and Bars
Eligibility Criteria
The 2023 Moonee Ponds Business Awards are free to enter. Businesses must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- Each business may only submit one application
- The business’s primary address must be located in the Moonee Ponds Shopping Precinct
- The business must not be in breach of any state/territory or local government law or regulation
Prizes
The Moonee Ponds Business Awards winners (except for Business of the Year) will not only receive well-deserved recognition but also be presented with cash prizes of $1000 each.
The winner of the Business of the Year will receive both recognition and a $3,000 cash prize.
The winners will be announced online and in Moonee Valley City Council publication. Will be presented with their cheque, certificate and trophy from the Moonee Valley City Council Mayor.
