Quarter Two is a cafe by day and an Italian restaurant by night, set in a restored church at 23A Gladstone Street, Moonee Ponds. It was created by the brothers behind Coffee Qtr in Essendon, and both the room and the menu draw on Italian heritage.
Breakfast, lunch and Italian dinners on Gladstone Street
There are two menus here: a cafe menu for breakfast and lunch, and a dinner menu built around handmade Italian dishes. A few things they’re known for:
- Their steak roll
- The Macarena, their signature drink
- Handmade pasta and other Italian dishes at dinner
- Desserts to finish
- Wines and cocktails in the evening
During the day it runs as a busy, friendly cafe. In the evening the church becomes a smaller, more intimate dining room that suits a date night or a relaxed dinner with friends.
Booking a table at Quarter Two
Bookings are taken for both sides of the business. For the cafe, use the booking link on the contact page of their website. Dinner bookings are made through OpenTable, and it’s worth booking ahead, as the restaurant only opens on selected nights.
